Beautique Day Spa & Salon

I normally hate to give bad reviews, but I'll make an exception. I went to Beautique for a Brazilian. First of all, she used a honey wax on me that did more harm than good- OWW! Red skin and even some bleeding.

My waxer was late for my appt by 10 minutes! Said she was sick that day and spent very little time talking to me, trying to make me feel comfortable, etc. She just complained about how she didn't feel like being there. I can't remember her name but she looked like Courtney Love that day. Yeesh! She also had someone else's leftover hair on her shirt. EW. And the oil bottle she used was FILTHY. I didn't touch it. Better to go home sticky.

The spa upstairs is better likened to a corporate office. Bad carpet, drop ceiling tiles, fluorescent lights The whole place didn't have the appearance that was suggested by the name- or the price tag. I tipped 15% and left feeling hurt, uncomfortable, and definitely against getting waxed ever again. Luckily for me, I've found a new place and had a much better experience.

I went there for a brazilian wax. Two of my friends always go to Raza. She was great! She's so nice, makes you feel very comfortable and is very good. She's the only one I will make an appointment with.

I have been going to Beautique for about 4 years. I have changed beauticians a few times and had never been completely satisfied with my experience. A friend recommended that I see Raza, and since then I have never made an appointment with anyone else. I have received multiple compliments on my eyebrows since I have been going there. I have even recommended Raza to friends! By far and away, the best beautician I have seen at Beautique.

Great place if you need to get the job done and get it done efficiently. Best facial, massage, and waxing in town. You always get compliments on Raza's work Wow, your eyebrows look great, or your skin is amazing!

I saw Michelle today for a bikini wax and facial and I have to say this was one of the most gentle bikini wax I've ever had. I go to Beautique alot and don't usually care who I see, but I will make sure now I see Michelle. She listened to what I had to say about my skin and gave me recommendations on what to use and what to do. It was the most relaxing facial ever. I believe I actually feel asleep. I would highly recommend Michelle!

I recently went to Beautique, and was treated to the Best hair experience ever. My stylist was Brandi. I can't recommend her enough. She was top of the line professional, and knew exactly what I wanted, and how to achieve it. I have had MANY bad hair experiences over the years and I must say it is soooo nice to leave feeling your best. Not to mention having everyone tell me how beautiful my hair looks. Brandi couldn't have done a better job on the color or cut. Perfection!!!!!!!

I usually don't write reviews but my results were too good not to share. I have had massages regularly for a long time and did not think that I would find anyone to truely take care of me after moving to Houston. Lets face it, it can be very hard to find someone who truely knows their craft. Well Beautique has the 2 best massage therapist I have her been to. Natasha and Karen. God Bless them and their hands. They truely understand the human body and how to manupilate muscle tissue. Yes the parking can be a nightmare and some of the receptionists don't seem to have good understanding, but if there is a problem with your appointment and you are with either of these ladies, they handle it so that you won't have to. The way professionals do. I recommend that you book with them in advance or ask to be put on their waiting list because they seem to book up fast (yes they do call if something opens up). They are truely THE BEST!!!!

Ashley serna is awesome! i love her to death! she is the sweetest hair styliest i have ever had! She has been doing my hair for 3 years now and i have NEVER had a bad experience with her! ashley is an amazing colorist too! she has taken my hair from blonde to brunette to blonde again it in every color it look terrific! the beautique has also been really great i have been going there for 4 years now and i have always felt welcomed and treated very graciously! I will be going there as long as i can! u should deffinately go to this salon!

Ashley has been doing my hair for 7 years now and she is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I always walk out of the salon completely satisfied with my highlights and I could NEVER ask for a more knowledgeable and professional stylist. She always knows what works best and is consistently GREAT! The 30 minute drive to Rice Village is well worth it and I will never go anywhere else!! If anyone is looking for an EXCEPTIONAL stylist call and make and appointment with Ashleyshe is hands down the BEST in HOUSTON!!

I have been going to Beautique for the past year for my haircuts, monthly facials, waxing (brows and brazillian) and have never had a problem until now. This past experience was so bad that I vow never to go back even though I LOVE LOVE LOVE Rubina who does all my waxing and facials.

What happened was I went in to get a brazillian wax, last minute. Rubina wasn't there so they told me I could see whoever was available (I don't remember her name). I agreed thinking that everyone at this "highend" salon would at least be adequately skilled. Not the case. The aesthecian not only complained about her awful day the entire time and how she couldn't wait to go home, she looked and sounded sick. The brazillian wax was the MOST painful wax I had ever received (and I get them very frequently). She merely put the wax on and ripped it off my skin quickly and moved on. I didn't even have her do my backside because it was so painful. After the waxing, there were a few stray hairs that she simply ignored and did not cleanup with tweezers. All in all, it was an awful job and extremely painful and my skin was extremely irritated for the new 3 or 4 days.

I called 2 hours after the wax when my skin was extremely irritated to talk to a manager. They put me on the phone with the OWNER of the salon. I expressed my disatisfaction and the only thing the owner could tell me was that each aesthecian was different and had different procedures. He offered to fix the problem if I wanted to come back but that is ridiculous. Why would I go back so the same awful lady could put me through even more pain? I expected him to offer to refund my money or even gvie me the next service, complimentary but he did neither.

Beautique has lost a dedicated salon patron and I'm sad that I will not get to see Rubina again because she is WONDERFUL.
